Brightfox Supports Sustainability

Green Collaboration

As a tech consultancy, Brightfox recognizes its responsibility to actively engage in initiatives promoting environmental sustainability and planet care. When Salesforce endorsed the “Plant a Tree” initiative by Natuurpunt in the “Scheldevallei,” we eagerly joined forces with fellow Salesforce partners to contribute.

Preserving forests plays a crucial role in filtering carbon monoxide from the atmosphere. In January 2020, Salesforce, a founding partner of the 1t.org movement, publicly announced its commitment to preserving, restoring, and growing 100 million trees by the end of 2030. We wholeheartedly embraced this mission, aligning our efforts with Salesforce to make a meaningful impact.

Plant-for-the-Planet

In order to achieve the goal of planting that many trees, Salesforce will use the full power of its resources being technology, capital and influence. They do this by learning from others and fine- tuning programs and methodologies. To achieve this goal, Salesforce will work with Plant-for-the-Planet and use their platform to keep track of the progress, communicate with partners and allows for donations to be tracked.

Scheldevallei

Natuurpunt acquired a new piece of land with a vision to populate it with 8,000 new trees. In light of the challenges posed by the pandemic, the traditional approach of utilizing large groups of volunteers wasn’t feasible. Instead, a dedicated team of laborers will be spearheading the tree-planting initiative.

Anticipating growth, our goal is to increase the number of trees planted to 10,000 next year. Brightfox is delighted and proud to be a part of this impactful project that not only creates new green spaces but also contributes to building a cleaner and more sustainable environment.
